Casey Mize (6-1) notched his fourth consecutive win in Game 1 of Thursday's doubleheader against the Rockies. The right-hander delivered a quality start, allowing one run on three hits over six innings. Mize struck out eight and issued no walks, throwing 86 pitches (63 strikes). The Tigers scored nine runs for him in the first three innings.
