Jones went hitless in two at-bats with the White Sox and slashed .145/.254/.258 over 71 plate appearances with Triple-A Charlotte. He is now free to sign with any team. In a corresponding move, the White Sox claimed Yoendrys Gomez off waivers from the Los Angeles Dodgers.
