Tim Elko first MLB hit is game-winning homer

Tim Elko recorded his first Major League hit in memorable fashion Sunday against the Marlins, launching a game-winning three-run home run. The blast came in the sixth inning off Sandy Alcantara. Elko, who went 0-for-3 in his MLB debut Saturday, finished Sunday's win 1-for-3 with one run scored and three RBI.

Elko served as the designated hitter Sunday after playing first base in his MLB debut Saturday. Andrew Vaughn has posted a .554 OPS through 160 plate appearances this season.
