Jonathan Cannon surrenders five runs in loss
by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | White Sox Correspondent | Wed, May 28th 10:37am EDT
Jonathan Cannon allowed five earned runs on nine hits over 5 2/3 innings in Tuesday’s 6-4 loss to the Mets. He walked one and struck out four while giving up two home runs.
Fantasy Impact:
Cannon was hit hard, pushing his season ERA to 4.15 with a 1.35 WHIP through 60 2/3 innings. Though he’s shown flashes of efficiency, Tuesday marked another reminder of his volatility. His limited strikeout upside and WHIP concerns make him best suited as a streamer in favorable matchups for now.
