Dylan Cease allowed three earned runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out six over 4 2/3 innings in Saturday's loss to the Pirates.

The right-hander continues an inconsistent stretch on the mound of late, allowing three runs in three of his last six starts for the Padres. After yesterday’s performance, Cease now holds a 4.66 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with a 1-4 record across 12 starts this season.
