The Padres optioned RHP Bradgley Rodriguez to Triple-A El Paso.

Rodriguez threw 1 2/3 scoreless innings in relief for his MLB debut over the weekend. He gets sent back down to make room for Ryan Bergert who is starting on Tuesday for the Padres.
