Edwin Diaz allowed one hit and one walk while not recording a strikeout in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Thursday's win over the Nationals.

After today’s game, Diaz boasts a 2.22 ERA and 0.92 WHIP with 15 saves across 28 appearances this season. He wasn't at his best, but it was the second time in three days the Nationals saw him. His 37.5% K% is in the 98th percentile, and he ranks 15th among relievers in K-BB%, despite a 10.7% BB%. He's one of the best relievers on one of the best teams in baseball.
