Brandon Nimmo Powers Mets to Narrow Victory Over Nationals
by Chase Davis | Rangers Correspondent | Fri, Jun 13th 9:01am EDT
Brandon Nimmo went 2-for-4 in a win over the Nationals with a home run, an RBI, and one run scored.
Fantasy Impact:
After today’s game, Nimmo’s season totals stand at a .241 batting average with 58 hits, 13 home runs, and 37 RBI across 65 games. That's back-to-back games with at least one homer after struggling for much of the season. The underlying stats don't look too different for Nimmo: his K% is as good as ever (18.4%), and his average EV is the highest of his career. His walk rate is down a little bit at 8%, but that just puts him around league average instead of the 91st percentile he was in last season. Hopefully this power binge will get him going.
