Sonny Gray struggles, lasts just four innings in loss

Sonny Gray (7-2) was tagged with the loss Thursday against the Brewers after allowing six runs on eight hits and one walk over 4.1 innings. The right-hander struck out four. It was tied for his second-shortest outing of the year and the second-most runs he has allowed in a start this season.

Fantasy Impact:

Thursday marked the first time in five outings that Gray failed to strike out at least five batters, though it was also his seventh consecutive start with one or fewer walks. Through 79.2 innings this season, the veteran holds a 7-2 record with a 3.84 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and an 85:15 K:BB ratio. His next start is scheduled against the White Sox.
