by Bruno Mulé | Brewers Correspondent | Fri, Jun 13th 11:20am EDT
Aaron Ashby recorded his first save of the season Thursday against the Cardinals, throwing three scoreless innings of relief to close out a 6-0 win. The left-hander allowed three hits and issued no walks. It was his first time pitching at least three innings in an outing this season.
Fantasy Impact:
Ashby has yet to give up a run through nine innings this season and has zero holds, with Thursday's save being his first. He has posted a 0.78 WHIP and a 9:1 K:BB ratio. The 27-year-old left-hander is currently being deployed as a multi-inning reliever and has mostly worked in lower-leverage spots since coming off the injured list.
