Luis Severino allowed one earned run on six hits and two walks while striking out one over 7.2 innings in Friday's win against the Royals.

After today’s victory, Severino has a 4.32 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with a 2-6 record across 15 starts this season. Even though his strikeout rate is way down (61 in 90 2/3 innings), Severino has been a solid addition to the Athletics' pitching rotation.
