Wade Miley strikes out five over five innings

Wade Miley's only damage against Detroit on Sunday came via a pair of solo home runs. The veteran left-hander otherwise completed five innings, allowing a total of four hits and two walks while striking out five. He did not factor into the decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Miley is currently scheduled to face the Cardinals at home next week. He has performed better since moving into a starting role, allowing a combined five runs over his last 10 innings (two starts). This follows his season debut, where he worked as a reliever and gave up four runs in two innings.
