Byron Buxton slugs two homers, extends HR streak

Byron Buxton recorded his first multi-homer game of the campaign in Thursday's 12-5 win over the Reds, finishing 3-for-6 with a double and two solo home runs. He took Nick Martinez deep in both the first and second innings. It marked the third consecutive game in which Buxton has gone deep.
Fantasy Impact:
The outfielder is now up to 15 home runs on the year. He has been on a tear over his last nine games, batting .429 (12-for-28) with five home runs and three doubles in that span.
