Mike Trout homers as part of two-hit day

Mike Trout went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in the Los Angeles Angels' 7-3 loss to the Yankees on Thursday. He opened the scoring in the first inning with a two-out, 423-foot blast off Carlos Rodon for his 12th homer of the year.

Fantasy Impact:

The 33-year-old outfielder has now hit safely in seven of his last eight contests, a span in which he is batting .345 (10-for-29) with a 1.009 OPS. Through 201 plate appearances this season, Trout is slashing .236/.323/.466 with 12 home runs, 12 RBI, 22 runs scored, and a pair of stolen bases.
