Grant Holmes allowed two earned runs on four hits and three walks while striking out five over six innings in Sunday’s defeat to Baltimore.

Holmes has been strong on the mound lately, allowing just six earned runs over his last five starts. Following Sunday’s loss, he now holds a 3.44 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with a 4-8 record across 18 starts this season. His next scheduled start is Friday against the Cardinals.
