Taijuan Walker solid in first start since May

by Brenton Kemp | Phillies Correspondent | Wed, Jul 9th 1:28pm EDT

Taijuan Walker worked four innings of one-run ball, yielding just two hits alongside a pair of walks against three strikeouts Tuesday against the Giants.

Fantasy Impact:

Chalk that one up as a rock-solid outing for Walker, especially considering it was his first start since May 30. The righty did not allow an extra-base hit and went toe-to-toe with Giants lefty Robbie Ray for the time he was in the ball game. He now sports a 3.55 ERA in 20 outings (nine starts) on the season.
