Sean Manaea to start Friday

Fantasy Impact:
Manaea has made just one appearance for the Mets so far this season, working 3 1/3 innings of relief in the club's final game before the All-Star break. The veteran lefty was solid in that outing, as he allowed one run on five hits and no walks while striking out seven. Manaea spent most of the first half on the IL due to oblique and elbow issues. He was a key rotation piece for the Mets last year, winning 12 games while posting a 3.47 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and 9.1 K/9 over 32 starts.
