C.J. Widger signs minors deal with Padres

Fantasy Impact:
Widger, a 2021 10th-round pick by the Rangers, has not risen above High-A ball to this point. The 26-year-old posted a 7.82 ERA in 24 appearances at High-A in the Giants' organization this season.
