Bryce Elder shines in solid outing against the Mets
by Nicholas Rodriguez | Braves Correspondent | Fri, Aug 15th 5:54am EDT
Bryce Elder allowed two earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out six over seven innings in Thursday's win against the Mets.
Fantasy Impact:
Elder bounced back nicely after giving up five earned runs in his previous start, giving up just two earned runs in seven innings. He has been a little too inconsistent to trust as a fantasy manager, so he is best left on the waiver wire until he shows consistency. After yesterday's victory, Elder now has a 5.89 ERA and 1.52 WHIP with a 5-9 record across 20 starts this season. He is scheduled to take the mound again on Tuesday against the White Sox.
