With Nick Lodolo (illness) scratched from Tuesday's start against the Toronto Blue Jays, the Cincinnati Reds have called up Sanmartin. In what is expected to be a bullpen game, Sanmartin could be used in a multi-inning role. This season in Triple-A, he has posted a 2.79 ERA and 1.24 WHIP across 58 innings.
