Shane Bieber exercises player option with Blue Jays

Blue Jays RHP Shane Bieber has exercised his $16 million player option for 2026.
Fantasy Impact:
It is a bit of a surprise that Bieber did not opt out to seek a long-term deal. His return will be big for the Blue Jays rotation. He made seven starts in the regular season in his return from Tommy John surgery. He should hold some mid-round appeal in fantasy drafts next season.
