The Toronto Blue Jays selected the contract of catcher Brandon Valenzuela from Triple-A Buffalo on Thursday. The move protects the 25-year-old from being selected in next month's Rule 5 Draft. Valenzuela was acquired at the trade deadline from the Padres in exchange for Will Wagner. (Toronto Blue Jays)
Fantasy Impact:
In 2025, Valenzuela slashed .224/.309/.383 with 15 home runs over 113 games combined at the Double-A and Triple-A levels. He will likely begin the 2026 campaign back at Triple-A Buffalo.
