Trent Grisham Receives $22.05 Million Qualifying Offer
by Bruno Mulé | Yankees Correspondent | Thu, Nov 6th 5:55pm EST
The New York Yankees extended a one-year, $22.05 million qualifying offer to Trent Grisham on Thursday. The offer comes after a breakout 2025 campaign for the veteran outfielder. This move ensures the Yankees will receive draft compensation if the left-handed outfielder leaves in free agency. (Jeff Passan)
Fantasy Impact:
Grisham will now decide whether to accept the one-year deal or pursue a better contract on the open market. He hit 34 home runs during the 2025 regular season after never having hit more than 17 in a year previously. His .812 OPS was also a significant improvement, as he had not logged a figure higher than .675 in the past three seasons.
