Austin Wynns signs one-year, $1.1 million deal with A's

Austin Wynns (abdomen) and the Athletics agreed to a one-year, $1.1 million contract on Thursday. Wynns, who was traded to the A's in early June, posted a solid .865 OPS across 110 plate appearances in a reserve role during 2025 before suffering an abdominal strain. (Robert Murray)
Fantasy Impact:
Wynns is also considered a solid defender and is expected to fill the No. 2 backstop role for the Athletics in 2026, backing up Shea Langeliers.
