Kyle Wright has elected to become a free agent on Friday. His decision came after he cleared waivers, having been removed from the Kansas City Royals' 40-man roster earlier in the week. (Kansas City Royals)
Fantasy Impact:
The right-hander is reportedly healthy now but faces an uncertain free-agent market. He did not pitch at all in 2024 while recovering from right shoulder surgery and was limited to only eight rehab starts in 2025 due to that recovery and a subsequent strained oblique.
