Heim ended the 2025 season with a .213 average, 11 home runs, and 43 RBI in 124 games. The 30-year-old may have to settle for a backup role to open the 2026 season after struggling at the plate. Kyle Higashioka will likely open the season as the starting catcher for the Rangers.
