Christian Roa signs minor league contract with Astros

Christian Roa has agreed to a minor league contract with the Houston Astros according to MLB's transaction tracker. (MLB Trade Rumors)
Fantasy Impact:
Roa, 26, made his major league debut last season with the Marlins, pitching three scoreless innings in two games. He pitched in Triple-A Jacksonville before making the jump to Miami and went 10-2 with a 2.83 ERA in 50 games. His numbers in the minors are good, with the exception of command issues. In 379 innings, he has allowed 310 hits with 450 strikeouts, but his walk rate has consistently been between 14-17% in his five seasons. He'll provide relief depth at Triple-A to start the year.
