The Minnesota Twins have traded catcher Jhonny Pereda to the Mariners in exchange for cash. (Aaron Gleeman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Pereda was designated for assignment by the Twins on Saturday when the signing of catcher Victor Caratini became official. The 29-year-old made his MLB debut in the 2025 season, hitting .246 with a .658 OPS in 78 trips to the plate between the Athletics and Twins.
