Freuddy Batista signs minors deal with Astros

The Astros have signed catcher Freuddy Batista to a minor-league contract. (Milb Central on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Batista, 26, turned pro in the 2017 season, all spent in the Mariners' organization. He had an excellent season in 2025, hitting .295 with 13 home runs and a .928 OPS across 67 games between High-A and Double-A.
