Max Rajcic could move to bullpen

Rajcic posted a 6.40 ERA with a 28:27 K:BB ratio across 45 innings after being promoted to Triple-A Memphis in 2025, and nearly all of his minor league work has come as a starter. Over the offseason, he and the Cardinals' player development staff addressed a mechanical flaw — his plant foot had been leaking, preventing him from rotating his hips quickly — and the correction has pushed his velocity from the low-90s to the mid-90s, with a spring peak of 97 mph.
