Danny Coulombe contract restructured

Coulombe threw live batting practice Monday and is scheduled to make his Grapefruit League debut Thursday, with no signs of physical limitation evident so far. The Red Sox nonetheless restructured his contract after discovering issues during his physical examination.
Fantasy Impact:
The overall value of the deal remains unchanged, but the guaranteed portion was reduced to $1 million, with up to $2 million more available through performance and active roster bonuses. Boston chief baseball officer Craig Breslow and Coulombe's agent both declined comment on the situation.
