The veteran righthander posted a 7.00 ERA in nine innings this spring with an 11:3 K:BB ratio. The 36-year-old struggled last season, posting a 7.71 ERA in 23.1 innings between Atlanta and Detroit. However, his overall numbers in eight seasons of a 4.04 ERA and 414 strikeouts in 378.1 innings suggest he could latch on somewhere else with a team needing a veteran arm in their bullpen.
