Johan Duran notches first save in Opening Day win
by Nate Miller | Phillies Correspondent | Fri, Mar 27th 9:35am EDT
Jhoan Duran struck out one batter while allowing one hit and no walks over 0.2 scoreless innings to earn the save in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Duran did allow a hit, but he otherwise had little trouble converting his first save chance of the season. The hard-throwing righty's first full season with the Phillies is off to an excellent start, and he should remain one of the top closers for fantasy purposes moving forward.
