William Contreras drives in three in season-opening win

William Contreras went 1-for-3 while scoring one run and driving in three RBI to go along with one walk in the Brewers’ 14-2 win over the White Sox Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Contreras was one of many to take advantage of underwhelming stuff from White Sox right-hander Shane Smith in the season-opening contest for manager Pat Murphy. The 28-year-old enters the 2026 season offering fantasy managers an impactful run-producing option in the Milwaukee lineup after posting a .260 batting average to go along with 17 home runs and 76 RBI over 150 games for the Brewers in 2025.
