Blue Jays catcher Brandon Valenzuela connected for his first career home run in a 10-4 win over the Twins on Friday.

Valenzuela capped a five-run fourth innings for the Blue Jays with a two-run homer into the right field seats as he collected a pair of hits, two RBI, and two runs scored on the evening. The 25-year-old is 3-for-12 with five strikeouts since being called up to help out behind the plate with Alejandro Kirk recovering from surgery to repair a broken left thumb.
