Garrett Crochet allows 10 earned runs in 1.2 innings

by Bruno Mulé | Red Sox Correspondent | Tue, Apr 14th 9:43am EDT

Josh Bell doubled on the first pitch he saw — an outside sinker — and Victor Caratini homered on the very next pitch, a cutter, as the Twins' first inning got away from Crochet quickly. His final pitch of the night was hit 438 feet by Ryan Kreidler, a career .135 hitter, for the hardest-hit ball of Kreidler's career by two mph.

Fantasy Impact:

Crochet struggled with his command throughout and his fastball was down about 1.5 mph, finishing with 11 runs — 10 earned — across 1.2 innings.
