Blue Jays right-hander Kevin Gausman tossed five innings of three-run ball in a no-decision Tuesday against the Brewers.
Fantasy Impact:
All of the damage off Gausman came on a three-run homer of the bat off Jake Bauers in the fourth inning. Gausman also scattered six hits and walked three while striking out five. After a torrid start to the season in which he allowed just one earned run with 21 strikeouts across 12 innings in his first two starts of the season, the veteran has pitched 10 1/3 innings of six-run baseball with 10 strikeouts over his last two outings. Gausman will look to get deeper into the game in his next scheduled start on Sunday in Arizona against the D-backs.
