Ryan Weiss allowed two earned runs on five hits and four walks while striking out four over 3 1/3 innings in Tuesday’s loss to the Guardians.
Fantasy Impact:
Weiss continues a solid stretch on the mound, allowing less than three runs in each of his two starts. The right-hander has been one of many dismal options in the Astros pitching staff for manager Joe Espada to this point, posting a 6.50 ERA and 2.17 WHIP with an 0-2 record, 11.0 K/9, and 1.57 K/BB through seven appearances.
