Brandon Sproat exits early as Brewers fall 6-2
by Chris Schommer | Brewers Correspondent | Thu, Apr 30th 10:11am EDT
Brandon Sproat allowed four earned runs on six hits and two walks while striking out five over 4 1/3 innings in Wednesday’s loss to the Diamondbacks.
Fantasy Impact:
Sproat has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing three or more earned runs in each of his last two starts. The right-hander is a risky starting option difficult for manager Pat Murphy to trust at this point, posting a 6.75 ERA and 1.61 WHIP with an 0-2 record, 1.67 K/BB ratio, and .318 BABIP allowed through six appearances.
