Spencer Strider struggles with command in season debut

Spencer Strider gave up three runs on four hits and five walks while striking out six over 3 1/3 innings in Sunday's 11-6 win over the Rockies.
Fantasy Impact:
After missing the first month of the season on the IL, Strider threw 87 pitches in his 2026 debut for the Braves, with just 48 of them going for strikes. He was able to register six strikeouts, but the one-time All-Star clearly struggled to get comfortable on the mound. Coors Field is arguably the league's toughest place to pitch, but Strider still might be a "wait-and-see" bench stash for fantasy purposes at this juncture. A road start against the Dodgers on Saturday is not very inviting.
