Tyler Mahle allowed four earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out eight over 5 2/3 innings in Sunday’s win over the Pirates.
Fantasy Impact:
Mahle has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing four or more earned runs in four of his last seven starts. The right-hander remains an underwhelming starting option as part of an inconsistent Giants rotation for manager Tony Vitello, posting a 5.18 ERA and 1.49 WHIP with a 1-4 record and 2.1 K/BB ratio across eight starts.
