Kris Bubic allowed five earned runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four over four innings in Thursday's loss to the White Sox.

After Thursday's loss to Chicago, Bubic now has a 4.11 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with a 3-2 record across nine starts. This now marks seven of nine starts with three or more walks allowed. That's one more than he had in 20 starts last season. He'll look to keep the walks under control against the Red Sox, who walk the fourth least against left-handed pitchers.
