Yoshinobu Yamamoto allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks while striking out eight over seven innings in Monday's loss to the Padres.

After the defeat, Yamamoto owns a 3.32 ERA and 0.96 WHIP with a 3-4 record through nine starts this season. He picked up eight strikeouts for the third consecutive outing and allowed nine hard hits on 107 pitches. He'll look to get back in the win column next time out against the Brewers.
