Tanner Gordon goes five in first start of season Monday

Tanner Gordon went five solid innings on Monday, allowing one run on six hits, one walk, and three strikeouts in a no-decision against the Dodgers.
Fantasy Impact:
Gordon allowed only a run in the third inning as Hyeseong Kim led off with a single and scored on a Enrique Hernandez double to give the Dodgers a 1-0 lead. After a walk to Shohei Ohtani, however, the righthander limited the damage by retiring Mookie Betts and then getting Freddie Freeman to hit into an inning-ending double play. Gordon entered the game having made seven appearances out of the bullpen, primarily as a bulk reliever. With his effort on Monday, he lowered his ERA to 5.85 on the season and has a very respectable 33:7 K:BB ratio in 32.1 innings. He is lined up to pitch against the Giants on Sunday.
