Blue Jays right-hander Trey Yesavage allowed five earned runs in 6 2/3 innings on Monday, taking the loss against the Marlins.
Fantasy Impact:
Yesavage pitched better than his final line would indicate, as a pair of defensive miscues by left fielder Yohendrick Pinago in the fifth inning directly led to three earned runs against Yesavage. The younster walked just two against six strikeouts and threw 62 of his 98 pitches for strikes on the evening. Yesavage will look for a better fortune in his next scheduled start on Saturday on the road against the Orioles.
