Kai-Wei Teng allowed five earned runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out five over four innings in Tuesday’s loss to the Angels.

Teng has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing three earned runs or more in each of his last three trips to the mound. The right-hander has fought consistency issues on the mound to this point, posting a 3.71 ERA and 1.27 WHIP to go with a 3-5 record and 8.7 K/9 ratio through 20 appearances.
