Weathers has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing five earned runs or more in four of his last five trips to the mound. The left-hander has fought command issues after an impressive stretch on the mound in the Yankees rotation early on for manager Aaron Boone, carrying a 4.36 ERA and 1.17 WHIP with a 2-5 record and 9.8 K/9 ratio across 13 starts.
