by Bruno Mulé | Red Sox Correspondent | Thu, Jun 25th 9:03am EDT
Andruw Monasterio started at shortstop and went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday’s 8-6 loss to the Rockies. It was his second consecutive start at the position with Marcelo Mayer opening the game on the bench due to a sore foot.
Fantasy Impact:
The homer was Monasterio’s third of the season and snapped a stretch in which he had gone 2-for-23 over his previous 11 games. He later shifted to second base after Mayer entered for the injured Caleb Durbin.
