Martin Perez was tagged for three runs on four hits and four walks while striking out four over four-plus innings in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
Perez turned in one of his weaker outings of the campaign Wednesday evening, as he tied his season high in walks and fell short of five full innings for the first time in a dozen starts this year. The veteran lefty was charged with a run after exiting, which brought his ERA to an event 3.00 for the season. Perez will be in search of a better result next week against the Cardinals.
