Gerrit Cole allowed three earned runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out six over 6 1/3 innings in Wednesday’s 3-0 loss to the Rays.
Fantasy Impact:
Cole has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing three earned runs or more in three of his last four trips to the mound. The right-hander offers manager Aaron Boone another mostly stable option in the Yankees rotation since returning from injury, posting a 4.04 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with an 8.6 K/9 and a 3-4 record across nine starts.
